This bi-lateral flow of ideas between the show and the comics is interesting for a number of reasons, but most importantly it may mean that Locke & Key and Netflix's forthcoming adaptation of Neil Gaiman's Sandman are set to have a closer relationship than the streamer ever envisioned. There's currently no set release date for Locke & Key season 2, but history gives us some clues about when it might debut.
